Pastor Kilpatrick

Pastor Steve Kilpatrick and his wife Debbie were married in 1976 and have been serving the Lord faithfully in many areas of the ministry since then.  They both graduated from Baptist Bible College.  Pastor received a Master of Missions degree from Bethel Baptist College, and was later honored with a Doctor of Humanity from Bethel Baptist College and a Doctor of Divinity degree from The Crown College of the Bible.  He has worked in youth ministry, youth music, and been involved in Christian education.  Pastor and Mrs. Debbie went to the Philippines as missionaries from 1981-1990.  They were greatly used of the Lord there and developed a great burden for worldwide missions.  When they returned from the mission field, Pastor Kilpatrick served as associate pastor and president of Bethel Baptist College in Jacksonville, Arkansas.  In 2002, God led him to start Gospel Light Baptist Church. He was used of the Lord at Gospel Light where he led the church family to truly become “a family of friends” with a great desire to reach out into the community and around the world with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Debbie Kilpatrick served in the areas of church clerk, secretary, nursery director, choir, out reach ministry and many other areas of the ministry.  In 2016 Pastor Kilpatrick was moved by God to start Chelsea Baptist Church in Chelsea, Alabama.  He continues laboring faithfully to reach the communities of Chelsea, Sterrett and Westover and build Chelsea Baptist Church.
